In other news, we are finishing up the final details of our new album Love Electric. We will announce the release date - which will be some time in September - soon! We can't wait for you to hear it!!!!

This Thursday night we play a very unique set - half covers that have influenced us, and half new songs from our upcoming CD LOVE ELECTRIC! (Well, we might throw in a few of your old favs as well...) And we'll be joined by special guest Mike Buckley on sax! (We rehearsed last night and I'm telling you you don't want to miss this, especially if you loved the old Lovewhip with horns!) “'Pump Up The Jam' was not what I expected to hear when Lovewhip took the stage, but it was the perfect intro to this Boston-based trio’s energetic and catchy tunes. Even more appealing were the strong vocals, the guitar, bass, and a real drum kit. Not what one expects from a band known for their electro-pop dance music. (Normally electronic implies synthesizers and drum machines rather than live musicians with instruments.) Lovewhip certainly incorporates their fair share of electronics, but it’s balanced by these talented musicians who are the real deal.”

We have exciting news, music fans! We are going to be a part of the 1st Annual Provincetown Rocks! Music Festival, featuring some of the most amazing bands from the Boston area and beyond! Go here for more info on bands, etc. It's going to be a great time, a full 5 days worth of music, burlesque and alternative comedy, all in the sunny, beautiful, beachy and sexy surroundings of Provincetown!

We're playing twice: at Vixen on Thursday 7/23 at 4:45pm and at Good Times on Friday 7/24 at 9:45pm! Erin will also be doing a solo acoustic blues set at the historic Old Colony on Saturday 7/25 at 8:30pm!
